Mais qu\u2019en est-il vraiment ? Le polar remplit-il effectivement une fonction de critique sociale, ou bien cette vision d\u2019une litt\u00e9rature \u00ab de rebelles \u00bb rel\u00e8ve-t-elle du fantasme ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>R\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ces questions implique de d\u00e9m\u00ealer l\u2019\u00e9cheveau complexe des rapports entre polar et politique. C\u2019est \u00e0 cette t\u00e2che que s\u2019applique ici Lucie Amir. Analysant tant les \u0153uvres des grands noms du genre que les discours et institutions qui les portent, elle propose une enqu\u00eate m\u00e9ticuleuse sur son histoire et les tentatives de politisation qui l\u2019ont concern\u00e9 en France. Sa d\u00e9marche souligne le caract\u00e8re structurant des tensions entre les n\u00e9cessit\u00e9s pratiques du polar (le divertissement et les contraintes \u00e9ditoriales aff\u00e9rentes), son ancrage politique et sa valeur litt\u00e9raire ; mais, aussi et surtout, elle met en \u00e9vidence les polarit\u00e9s id\u00e9ologiques qui structurent l\u2019inconscient politique d\u2019un genre
