Et lorsqu\u2019ils votent, c\u2019est pour le Rassemblement national. De 2016 \u00e0 2022, d\u2019un scrutin pr\u00e9sidentiel \u00e0 l\u2019autre, le sociologue F\u00e9licien Faury est all\u00e9 \u00e0 leur rencontre dans le sud-est de la France, berceau historique de l\u2019extr\u00eame droite fran\u00e7aise. Il a cherch\u00e9 \u00e0 comprendre comment ces \u00e9lecteurs se repr\u00e9sentent le monde social, leur territoire, leur voisinage, les in\u00e9galit\u00e9s \u00e9conomiques, l\u2019action des services publics, la politique. Il donne aussi \u00e0 voir la place centrale qu\u2019occupe le racisme, sous ses diverses formes, dans leurs choix \u00e9lectoraux. Le vote RN se r\u00e9v\u00e8le ici fond\u00e9 sur un sens commun, constitu\u00e9 de normes majoritaires per\u00e7ues comme menac\u00e9es \u2013 et qu\u2019il s\u2019agit donc de d\u00e9fendre. \u00c0 travers des portraits et r\u00e9cits incarn\u00e9s, cette enqu\u00eate de terrain \u00e9claire de fa\u00e7on in\u00e9dite comment les id\u00e9es d\u2019extr\u00eame droite se diffusent au quotidien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">F\u00e9licien Faury est sociologue et politiste, chercheur postdoctoral au CESDIP (Centre de recherches sociologiques sur le droit et les
